APEAL at Packaging and Waste Sustainability Forum

APEAL Secretary General, Alexander Mohr, is set to speak at the 23rd annual Packaging Waste and Sustainability Forum in Brussels.

The event, which takes place at the Hotel Metropole between March 1st and March 3rd and is entitled “Fitting the circular economy into your business”, will bring together more than 100 key leaders from the packaging, waste and resource management industry.

They will discuss the recently announced European Circular Economy Package which was published by the European Commission in December 2015 and what business across the industry are doing in order to reduce packaging waste levels and bring about greater sustainability as well as what is being done to improve packaging design, functionality and marketing.

Alexander will form a key member of a panel which will discuss the new recycling targets within the package and their achievability.
